It can be a simple hello or whatever you feel comfortable sharing about yourself. Routinely we go through our member list and to keep your account active, we ask that you post a brief introduction. Please note: New members are required to submit an introduction or post for support within two (2) weeks of registering, otherwise your membership will revoked. We have listed a few basic guidelines that we follow in offering support so that you will feel safe sharing with each other. 1) Please be courteous to others at all times and treat everyone as you would like to be treated. 2) Please do not set your profile at Invisible status if you do not intend to post, we will not allow this and your profile will be altered and the facility removed completely. 3) Any member who visits the site, takes time to log in but just reads and doesn't post will be asked to either stop or their membership will be taken away as due to the nature of this site we wish for all members to feel comfortable here and if people just read this does not make the members feel safe. 4) We will not allow anyone to be verbally abused on this board. If you do have a problem with another member please contact the admin team and it will be looked into and dealt with appropriately. 5) If something you are posting may trigger another, please put “May trigger” in the title to make people aware. 6) Any posts likely to cause offence to others will be removed. 7) Any personal arguments brought on to the main forum will be instantly removed by the Staff Team. We will not allow personal problems between members to be openly spoke about on the forum. As we have previously stated this is a Support forum first and foremost and remains that way. It is not fair or right for members with serious issues to have to be privy to others disagreements. All posts of this order will removed and no explanation will be given as this is a set ruling. 8) Any articles that members may wish to post offering advice to others on any particular serious issue must first be shown to the Root Admin Team for approval, any posted without will be removed. 9) We reserve the right to move or remove posts but will always advise you about this when it happens and to why we have felt the need to remove it. 10) Any information or any posts done by members on this site should stay completely private. Anyone found spreading gossip relating to members posts or heresay about them will be on an Automatic ban...there will be no warning just an instant ban. 11) Please note this site is about people living in the real world and no person who wishes to bring in ''cyber fantasy'' situations will be tolerated. This could be detrimental to members with Mental health and Loss problems. 12) We will never allow spamming in this site.....this is when someone tries to post their URLs to another site in conflicting interest or emails members inviting them to their sites....this is a banning offence and will not be tolerated. Please would you inform the three Administrators if you receive any emails or PMs like this. Please Note this is a Banning Offence. 13) Spamming also covers members who join and privately ask other members to turn to them for support in the aim of pulling our members away from this forum, this will not be tolerated and is also a banning offence. 14) Any person displaying signs of Munchausen condition is on an immediate ban. The people who have this are very manipulative and will hurt any number of people to gain attention from them by exaggerating illness, although it is a disorder, in as much as we are a mental health and bereavement site we cannot allow members with already serious troubles in their lives to be saddened and upset unnecessarily by the false claims these people often make. If you feel any member is fabricating excessively and trying to gain attention outside this site please do bring it to the attention of either the Root Administrators or the Main Support Team as the sooner we know of it the better for all concerned. 15) Please remain vigilant with regards to Internet safety. Never give out any personal details IE address, phone or contact numbers, on the open boards. Be wise and stay safe. 16) If any of our members contacts you requesting personal info, or provides you with their info that you did not request, and you feel uncomfortable with the issue, please contact administration immediately. 17) Any PMs or emails which are received by any of our members from another member which upsets them in any way, must be discussed with either one of the 4 Root Admin or one of the 4 Support Team Members, Karen, Kim, Elaine or Bruised Reed immediately so this matter can be discussed and dealt with. Please note the Administrators of this site maintain the right to ban any member at their own discretion after discussion and their decision if final and not subject to negotiation. ************************************** DISCLAIMER: * We do NOT attempt diagnosis or clinical treatment of another member.
